Community Membership:  Enjoy the benefits of a Y membership! The Connect YMCA serves to nurture the potential of children, teens, and families to improve community health and provide an opportunity for individuals to give back and support the community. Family Membership: $20/month Single Individual Membership: $10/month Membership Includes: Unlimited group exercise classes, child watch, youth enrichment activities, teen programs, youth sports, informal education, and more Group Exercise Classes Get fit together! The Y offers classes led by trained instructors. There's no pre-registration or fee for classes. Classes offered include, low impact cardio, cardio strength, Zumba, yoga, and cardio dance. Monday- Thursday: 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm, Saturdays: 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM Youth Sports YMCA Youth Sports programs encourage and promote healthy kids, families and communities. Would you like to learn more about programs that can assist you?  Come to the FOOD FAIR hosted by Christian Community Service Center (CCSC). Please bring a basket or bag to transport your food.   You are invited to compete in Houston's Youth Talent Showcase for Artists! Submit your artwork, photography, poetry, essay or film by March 20, 2020, at 5:00 pm and have the chance to win up to $300. Requirements are: Young Artists: 13-18 years old, 2-dimensional work (24" X 36" maximum) any medium except photography. Young Authors: 13 - 18 years old, poems of no more than 200 words and essays of no more than 500 words. Young Filmmakers: 13-22 years old. Work can be documentary, drama, animation and no longer than 10 minutes. Photography: 13-22 years old. Work can be black and white or color.   On February 26th, St. Luke’s -Gethsemane will be celebrating Ash Wednesday with “Ashes to Go.” Stop by the St. Luke's -Gethsemane parking lot to receive your ashes before work/school! Worship will also take place at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.
