My Connect Community’s (MCC) mission is for every child and adult in Gulfton and Sharpstown to lead a healthy, prosperous life in a safe, vibrant neighborhood where families choose to live, learn, work, worship, and play. Through a place-based, cradle-to-career approach, MCC addresses the root causes of poverty, expands economic mobility, and delivers lifelong impact for this community of newcomers from around the world.

Families in our community work tirelessly to make ends meet, to get ahead, to build wealth. But the systemic challenges they face are overwhelming.
MCC seeks to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by helping people find and forge a path forward through education, training, wellbeing, and housing support. The world we strive for is one in which our work is no longer needed.
Inclusion
Neighborhoods can become ecosystems of opportunity through investments in housing, health and wellness, education, and economic vitality.
